Manu Masko
Musicien, compositeur, producteur, réalisateur.

Member of the Celtic Social Club and DFMB, Manu Masko also creates his music for others types of media. From the Futuroscope's sound design and music for live shows to advertisements and entertainment, he diversifies his skills which enable him to accomplish his musical projects with the same know-how. His recording studio is at the heart of his creative talent and reactivity, artistic resources in a rich and diversified sound palette inspired by his multifaceted culture.
Manu Masko is as much a musician and producer with a rich and complete career as a real "sounds maker". If he has remained faithful to his drums, his sampler Akai 5500 and Roland pad to develop his original style of drumming, which is specific and powerful, he multiplies his sound creations from his studio laboratory "130 Underground". With twenty albums and as many music creation orders, his old English electronic console and the faithful support of the New York sound engineer Ariel Borujow (Madonna, Puff Daddy) enable him to take on every kind of project.
This double career started ten years ago when the doors to the music entertainment industry were opened thanks to the Futuroscope of Poitiers. A playing field of sounds where he composes and produces music for the Park including show soundtracks (Le peuple du Futur, Noël au Futuroscope...), events illustrations (launching of Arthur et les Minimoys by Luc Besson, a boxing World Championship), and advertisements. A confidence acknowledged by two successive compilations (Futurosound volume 1 and 2) which continues today. In addition to these activities, Manu Masko is involved in sounds linings for the television (weather forecast for France 3, sports department for Canal +) and radio (France Bleu, France Armorique, Breizh Izel), as well as credit titles, advertisements and specific compositions for TV programmes (Des Racines et Des Ailes for France 3).
Manu Masko has taken the best from his dual culture and his continuous composition opportunities, enabling him to complete orders quickly and to feel as confident in different registers (groove, jazz, world, rock, hip-hop, electro, ambient) as in the specificities of sound grammar.
At 44 years old, he is as faithful to his friendships as he is to his origins, but is more open-minded than ever to the world and all that is possible through musical encounters.
He seems to turn every adventure into a success and every gamble into a win.
